Fire Breath Meditation
Sit in silence comfortably. Feel the fire in your heart.
***With each inhale, imagine drawing light into your body***
***With each exhale, release fear, confusion, or heaviness***

Ushta is a key spiritual concept in Zarathustra’s teachings and in the Gathas. At its essence, Ushta means inner radiance, spiritual joy, or divine illumination—but it is much more than simple happiness.
It means:
* Literal meaning: In Avestan, the ancient language of the Gathas, Ushta is often translated as "radiant happiness", "inner bliss", or "spiritual light."
* Spiritual meaning: It is not the joy of external pleasures, but the joy that arises from inner clarity, truth, alignment with Asha (the divine order), and awakened consciousness.
* State of being: Ushta is the soul’s natural state when it is unburdened by illusion, deception, or ignorance. It emerges when one lives truthfully, thinks rightly, speaks wisely, and acts with integrity.
Ushta is an illumination of the divine light within. It is the inner joy and clarity that arise when one is truly awakened. Ushta cannot be pursued or possessed. It is revealed when the lower self grows quiet, and the divine flame burns clear and bright. It is not the fleeting joy of a person who finds gold, but the lasting joy of a soul that overcomes illusion.
Zarathustra taught:
“Ushta to him by whom Ushta is brought to others.”
Ushta grows in the soul that uplifts others— not with flattery, but with truth, love, and inner guidance. When you become a light for others, your own light grows stronger.
The Ushta Chant
I rise with the fire, I rise with the light. I cast off the shadow, I walk into right. With feet on the earth, I voice my name. I call forth the power that lives in flame. LIshta to truth, Ushta to flame. Ushta to soul that walks without shame. Ushta to thoughts that shine like the sun Ushta to deeds that cannot be undone. Ushta me, Ushta me, fire within, Ushta me, Ushta me, spirit oglow. Ushta my breath as I greet the day. Today I bring joy, today I stand tall. I rise through storm, 1 rise through all, No shadow shall claim what light has found With fire in my chest and feet on the ground Ahura within me, Asha my way— Ushta my breath as I greet the day.

Thus Speaks Zarathustra
O seeker of wisdom, do not look outside yourself. Look within, for there, the seed of your true being is waiting to sprout. You are not a finished being—you are becoming. A flame that does not fade, but grows brighter with each new day. Do not cling to who you are. You are always the beginning of something greater. You are meant to rise, to break beyond your present self, to reach for all you are meant to be. Let go of what no longer serves you. Step beyond the walls of yesterday, for beyond them, something greater is waiting to unfold. In this constant becoming, you will find the light that has always been within you. You will find your highest self— a self that is ever-growing, ever-reaching, where you truly are.
Thus spoke Zarathustra.

Today is not just another day—it is a space for becoming, a chance to shape your destiny with every thought, word, and action.
Whatever you face today—face it with courage.
Whoever you meet today—meet them with presence.
Whatever choice you make—choose from wisdom
Thus Speaks Zarathustra:
You hold within you a spark of divine fire!
A radiant light that shines bright, guiding you through life's journey.
This inner flame is a gift from the Highest, a symbol of your true potential.
It's a fire that burns deep within your soul,
It fuels your dreams, drives your passions,
And gives you the courage to create and grow.
Let this fire shine!
Let it illuminate your path,
Like the sun, let your fire shine strong, warming the hearts of those around you.
Do not let hardships put out your flame!
Stand tall, strong, and unshaken.
For your fire is a force of change,
Lifting you and those around you higher.
You are the keeper of your fire,
The master of your own path.
So protect it, strengthen it, and let it glow!
When you walk in your own light, nothing can stop you.
Like fire, you are unstoppable!
For fire bows to nothing—so neither shall you!
